The boiler should be sufficient to supply all connected radiators to the sum of their maximum demand.

Please remember, that it is also possible to combine radiators to achieve the required BTU level. Many rooms have more than one radiator in them for this very reason. Larger rooms such as Living Rooms generally require more than one radiator positioned evenly throughout the room. If this is the case, divide the required output by the number of radiators needed.
