Colour Co-Ordination

We understand that many interior designs can be enhanced with carefully applied colour co-ordination or contrasts to create a standout feature. Today we have a huge choice of brands and exciting colour palettes and tones to choose from for our walls and woodwork, providing the opportunity to create truly stunning rooms. If you are looking to create a uniquely personal look, something a bit different, using colours from either popular or premium paint brands, we can take your chosen colour and create a highly durable powder coat finish that will allow your radiator to blend in with your wall colour, or standout if you want to make a statement!

The first step is to order a colour sample, for which a small charge of £120 Inc VAT will apply (this will be deducted from the full order when placed). We will then mix a batch of powder and prepare a sample for you to check and approve. Once you are happy, proceed to order your radiators.

To achieve your desired colour and allow for the sample and final production, we have an extension on our standard delivery times to allow for the process; this could be up to 6 weeks for the sample, and once the sample has been approved, up to 8 weeks for the completion of your radiator order. Timescales will be determined by the size and quantity of radiators you require, we will be able to provide a more accurate estimation when we quote for your project.

Making sure that you get something that reflects the effort you have taken in choosing your colours is important.

Once we know the radiators you are interested in and the make, name and code of your chosen colour, we can supply a quote and an estimate of delivery times.

Because our radiators are finished using a bespoke powder coat application, they will differ from the final wall finish of emulsion paint. Each manufacturer has a unique formula and the gloss level and finished texture will vary between brands, a powder coat finish will not match these finishes exactly.

Our powder coat finish will have a gloss level of circa 20-25%, like an eggshell. Many matt emulsions will have gloss levels around 2 – 6%, so it is important to provide a test sample before we proceed with the complete order, so you can see how it sits next to your wall colour.

The process is simple;

  1. Choose your radiators from our stock white range, we need to know the number and size of radiators that will need painting, so we can calculate the amount of powder we will need. If you would like a size that is not a stock item, additional time will be required to produce your chosen radiator. Timescales will be determined by the size and quantity of radiators you require, we will be able to provide a more accurate estimation when we quote for your project
  2. We will provide a full quote for the estimated costs and timescales for producing your radiators in your chosen colour, including the initial £120 Inc VAT charge for a test sample.
  3. Place and pay for an order for a test sample in your chosen colour (which will be deducted from the final order), providing the make, colour name and any code references. The £120 Inc VAT charge will apply for each sample required.
  4. If you like the test sample, we will require your written approval and then we can proceed with the full order. If the sample is not satisfactory, we can either try again (a second sample charge will apply, we can however only refund the first sample cost against the final order) or we can amend your order to a standard colour, or we can cancel the order.
  5. We will supply a final order for your approval before progressing with production.

To achieve your desired colour and allow for the sample and final production, we have an extension on our standard delivery times to allow for the process, this could be up to 6 weeks for the sample, and once the sample has been approved up to 8 weeks for the completion of your radiator order. Estimated delivery times will be supplied when we provide a quote for the project.
