Bare Metal Lacquer Finish

Industrial chic derived from hand finishing individually machined sections, showing all the marks and blemishes created by the production process means each radiator is unique.

Variations in colour, welding and burnishing marks vary from one section to another and add to the idiosyncrasy of each radiator.

Every Ancona section is made up of a number of parts that are welded together. These welds need to polished and cleaned up to leave a smooth surface and it is this process that creates the individual and distinctive markings.

Once sanded and cleaned a clear gloss lacquer is applied protecting the bare metal and enhancing the irregular nature and individuality of each radiator.

Ancona Lacquer

This finish highlights the raw basic steel product showcasing the manufacturing marks created by the processes of welding and sanding to deliver an industrial look.

Each radiator will be unique, with the random position of the weld lines on the column tubes and the level of the final sanding.

The clear lacquer allows these characteristics to be the hero and maintains the natural steel finish.
